Local Peoples is delighted to have joined the Capital Football family as the Official Support Partner of its inclusion programs.
This will see the Local Peoples logo proudly displayed on the playing jersey sleeves of the Capital Football Powerchair teams and on the front of the All-Abilities squad playing jersey.
Giuseppe Demaio, Founder and Chief Impact Designer of Local Peoples, said he was delighted to support inclusion programs like this in the nation’s capital.
“Local Peoples is thrilled to be able to support Capital Football’s inclusion programs through our role as Official Support Partner.
“Being able to assist the all-inclusive programs at Capital Football is a real pleasure and we are certain that the participants that take part in both the Powerchair and All-Abilities offerings will have a huge amount of fun.”
Capital Football is continuing to provide football opportunities for players with disabilities in 2023 as the governing body for football in the capital seeks to increase participation numbers across its inclusive football programs.
“We are excited to welcome Local Peoples to the Capital Football family as our new Official Support Partner for our award-winning inclusion programs,” Capital Football CEO Ivan Slavich said of the partnership.
“We are extremely proud of our inclusion programs which provide fun and inclusive match play for players with a disability.
“The support of Local Peoples as a partner in this space will enable us to continue to deliver these programs to a high standard.”
These are exciting times for Local Peoples in the nation’s capital. Not only have we signed this official support partnership with Capital Football, but we have just welcomed our new Canberra-based General Manager Maka Kama.
